How to update my camera firmware

To update the camera firmware via the Leica FOTOS app, please follow these steps:

1. Pair your camera in the Leica FOTOS app

2. Disconnect the camera within the app

3. The camera will remain visible in the camera list, and a Firmware Update button will appear on the camera tile

4. Tap Firmware Update and follow the on-screen instructions

Please note that the firmware update option only appears after the camera has been connected at least once.

Firmware-Update via App is only supported by the following camera models:

• Leica Q3

• Leica M11

• Leica M EV1

• Leica SL3

• Leica D-LUX 8

• Leica SOFORT 2

• Leica Q2 (since Q2 Firmware 3.1, Q2 Monochrom Firmware 1.1)

• Leica SL2 (since SL2 Firmware 4.0, SL2-S Firmware 3.0)
