# I can't see my photos when connecting to my camera.

When I connect to my Leica I see an empty gallery or a gallery that is missing some of my pictures. Why does this happen?

The following Leica cameras

-   D-Lux 7
    
-   D-Lux
    
-   V-Lux 5
    
-   V-Lux
    
-   C-Lux
    

use the .RWL format for RAW photos. This format is not supported by Leica FOTOS and photos in this format will not be displayed when connected. Please use a desktop application to transfer .RWL photos.

To enable image download via Leica FOTOS, the camera must be set to **JPG** or **RAW + JPG** in the file format settings. All images saved as **JPG** can be displayed and downloaded in Leica FOTOS.
